    Nicholas Curran

    Nicholas M. Curran began working as a clerk at Kathleen T. Zellner & Associates, and became an associate attorney following his admission to the Illinois Bar in May of 2007. Mr. Curran's experience in criminal law includes drafting appellate briefs and petitions for post-conviction relief, and he has obtained litigation experience by way of participation in evidentiary hearings and other pre-trial motions. One of Mr. Curran's more notable early accomplishments includes assisting Attorneys Kathleen T. Zellner and Douglas H. Johnson in drafting the brief which resulted in the Second District Appellate Court overturning the conviction of Michael Cardamone.

    Mr. Curran's experience in the firm's civil practice continues to grow, specifically in the areas of civil rights, premises liability, personal injury and medical malpractice cases. He is responsible for assisting Ms. Zellner and Mr. Johnson in every aspect of preparing these cases for trial, and his work contributes to the firm's success.

    Nicholas graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in psychology, and he received his J.D. from Baylor Law School in Waco, Texas. During law school, Mr. Curran was named a Top Ten Speaker at the Strasburger & Price L.L.P. Moot Court Competition, and served as a barrister in subsequent competitions. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyer's Association.
