    Anne Nolte

Anne's legal acumen was demonstrated in a high-stakes trial on which she worked with Kathleen Zellner and Douglas Johnson.  In November and December, 2007, Anne worked side by side with her mother and Mr. Johnson on a federal civil rights case in the Northern District of Illinois which resulted in a $15.5 million verdict.  Kathleen T. Zellner & Associates represented a man who had been falsely arrested for the murder of his daughter and his wife.  Following a seven-week trial in which Anne Zellner participated in every phase, the jury returned a verdict on behalf of the young couple.

Anne practices in all areas of personal injury law, including cases arising from civil rights violations, automobile collisions, premises liability medical malpractice and defamation. She also practices appellate law, both criminal and civil and does criminal defense work. Anne is a hard worker and enjoys a challenge, particularly in preparing cases at Kathleen T. Zellner & Associates in the areas of civil rights and medical malpractice, some of the most complex areas of law.

Anne has worked for Kathleen T. Zellner & Associates since her senior year in college. She started at the firm as an intern. Throughout law school, she worked as a law clerk. She joined the firm as an associate in 2006.

Anne attended Wheaton College (Illinois) where she studied Political Science. She went on to Northwestern University School of Law, where she served on the Elections Committee, was the Student Coordinator for the 1L Negotiations Program, and the teacher’s assistant for the trial advocacy program.
