Mr. Johnson assists Ms. Zellner in selecting civil cases further concentrating in the area of criminal law, defending individuals accused of First Degree Murder and other major felonies. Mr. Johnson has represented clients before trial and appellate courts throughout Illinois, the Supreme Court of Illinois and 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Nicholas M. Curran has been an attorney with Kathleen T. Zellner & Associates since 2007 and a partner since 2023. Mr. Curran has extensive experience in representing clients in criminal appeals and petitions for post-conviction relief. He also assists Ms. Zellner and Mr. Johnson in a wide range of both criminal and civil matters.

Joanna P. Kluzowska has been an associate attorney with Kathleen T. Zellner & Associates since her admission to the Illinois Bar in January of 2021. Prior to becoming an attorney, she worked as a law clerk for Ms. Zellner for two and a half years. Ms. Kluzowska assists Ms. Zellner and Mr. Johnson in a wide range of both criminal and civil matters, including civil rights and medical malpractice.
